This crash happened in front of my own eye’s. I was with the safety team at turn 11, I actually copped a piece of one of the car’s off the track. It was probably one of single coolest things I’ve ever seen.

lol cool..i grew up 10 minutes just over the hill from the glen…ive spent more time in watkings glen than i can recall..been to the track many times working and for the races…i was fortunate enough to see the Formula ones run before the track shut down before corning inc bought it…heck i even got to walk on the track in the late 70’s …pretty cool…i love road courses…cannot stand to watch 50 rednecks drive in a circle for 3 hours lol…

I was at this race too…unfortunetly I was directing traffic out of the parking lots and missed the whole damn thing!! (still pissed)
