to elvee88, really, are you really saying this??? He is a hero. I am sure if you were in that position, you would probally not have that much courgage to do that. He also had the choice to not land it in the same place and to get out first but he didn’t. He helped every single person get out of the plane before he even attemted to help humself, so until you save 150 people from a plane, DO NOT COMPLAIN!!!!!!!

i bet ur happy utube give u the option to remove ur idiotic comments, get a fucking life and stop trying to insult people u dont even know. If u disagree with me, fine.Bbut thats no reason to call me a dick tho. I was just stating my oppinion of a true hero. Sullivan did his job, and he did it extremely well….
Anonymous 04.22.09 at 8:47 pm
… and to me a dick is someone like you. thanks for confirming it with your moronic comment. over…

to me a hero is someone who willingly risks his or hers own life to save at least 1 other person. Sullivan of course did save a lot of people but he didnt have a choice…. so to me thats not true heroism. still an awesome and unbelievable performance tho

Capt Sully tried to tell the reporter’s not to do this to him, they went ahead and did it even after he asked them not to.He said he’s was only doing his job. If it was elsewhwere and he had no water to land on the obama voter’s would have blamed it on Bush:).A HERO is one who comes home in a box from fighting in far away land’s. A majority of communist that make up the U.S. today. These Hero’s fight for the minority of real American’s still living in the U.S., not the cheap import Libby Dems

FAir refund what a joke. Yes these people were saved by Capt.Sully and Im sure from what i have seen on the news every one of them are very grateful one person so grateful he broke down and said now I can go home to my little boy who I wouldnt have seen ever again if it wasnt for the heroic Capt.Sully. To me he is a true “hero” he did the impossible and its because of him he has saved many lives. To me he is a true hero.
Anonymous 04.22.09 at 8:47 pm
I don’t think “luck” is the word you should be looking for.
Anonymous 04.22.09 at 8:47 pm
Certainly heroic. But what type of hat is Harry wearing?
Anonymous 04.22.09 at 8:47 pm
Funny comment but the word is “fare”.
Then again, a fare refund in this case wouldn’t be a fair refund - I mean, it wasn’t the airline’s fault that the geese showed up.
Those passengers can and obviously do thank Capt. Sully and US Airways for saving their lives, by keeping a guy like Sully on board instead of retiring him like a lot of airlines are doing to the older pilots.

fair refund?
